Outdoor Destination Tented Wedding at Casa Ybel!

Some of the best advice I can give to any couple planning a destination wedding is to take things as they come, trust in your vendors, and have FUN!! Your wedding day goes by in a flash, and you don't want to miss a second of the fun and magic that weddings create! A little faith, and a light heart go a long way when planning a wedding.

Our couple in this post really epitomized this relaxed, fun attitude during their destination wedding, May 1st 2010, here at Casa Ybel Resort.

Kristie was so much fun to work with during the entire planning process, and took everything in stride. She did her research, and trusted in her vendors, and everyone pulled together to make hers a FABULOUS day. Both Kristie, and her groom Kevin approached the wedding day with the best attitudes, and had so much fun. I couldn't help being happy just watching the wedding that night...they never stopped laughing, smiling, and DANCING, like I've never soon. This group, from New Jersey, certainly knew how to throw a wonderful party, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

All of these great images were shared with us by the amazing, Cher Hanna from Cher Hanna Photography. She did an incredible job in capturing the pure joy and beauty of this perfect beach side wedding. Thank you for sharing!!

Love the getting ready shots of both the bride and groom. They left themselves enough time to get separate shots, and some lovely bridal portraits. Cher Hanna is fabulous with the detail shots!!

The bridal party, such a FUN group!

The reception was perfectly tropical. The mix of the turquoise, and the beautiful greens and fresh limes was stunning! Thank you to Sue Bain from Signature Florals did all of the gorgeous flowers for this wedding.

Some of the butler passed hors d'ourves, so delicious!

The great bar selection, and chilled champagne to kick off the reception!

I love the couples portraits. The love between them is so clear and perfect!

Wide spread buffet, with a lot of variety for the guests!

See what I mean about the detail shots? Just fabulous!

Another amazing cake from Masons Bakery, with cannoli cream filling

DJ Chris Ceron kept the dance floor packed all night long!!

All in all, it was a wonderful wedding, a great party, and another very satisfied couple married at Casa Ybel Resort!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Richardson, and many years of happiness!
